How to watch Sky Sports’ live coverage of Wimbledon 2018
Sky Sports have confirmed they will televise the 2017 Australian Open in Sydney, with the coverage taking place live from the Sydney Cricket Ground.
The Tennis Channel, the live coverage platform owned by Sky Sports, has also confirmed the Wimbledon semi-final will be shown live.
The match will take place at the Sydney Oval, a venue the Tennis Channel has not yet confirmed.
As with all Sky Sports coverage, there will be a number of other highlights on the TennisChannel.
TennisChannel will also air the first round of the Wimsebledon women’s doubles tournament.
“We’ve had great support from Tennis Channel over the years and the Tennis channel has always been there for our viewers when the events are going on,” TennisChannel chief executive officer Mark Jones said.
“We know how important it is for fans to watch live tennis and we think this will be the first time we’ve had live coverage at a major tournament in Australia.”
The TennisChannel will be able to televise a number other matches, including a clash between world No. 1 Rafael Nadal and No. 2 Tomas Berdych.
The Tennis channel will also broadcast the final between No. 3 Tomas Berdymuk and No, 8 David Goffin in the final of the Australian Open, with Sky Sports having to cancel the broadcast in the run-up to the event.
In addition, the Tennischannel will be live-streaming a number tennis matches in the lead-up and following the Australian Women’s Open on Friday, including the final, a semifinal and the women’s final.
The Tennischannel also plans to televising the men’s singles semi-finals, the final and the final.
